Achievement & Outcome
“The best education is an education in the best things.” – Charles Spurgeon
Classical Education for Contemporary Success
JECA equips students for success in all of life. That includes a high rate of success in college entrance exams (ACT, SAT, CLT), college acceptance rates, and career success. In our 2025 graduating class, 100% of our graduating seniors plan to attend a post-secondary school. Their average ACT score was 27. In the year prior, the average ACT score was 30. We also continue to see great success in our post-college students as they pursue jobs, internships, and Christian influence in their communities.
Recent Honors
During the 2024-2025 school year, Senior Rebecca Whitten earned a Letter of Commendation from the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. In 2024, JECA 11th grader, Eli Haworth, was a Classical Learning Test (CLT) Regional Scholar, scoring in the top 5% of test takers in the Southwest. JECA Senior Mariana Eidson won the top honor for a senior thesis paper in the Association of Christian Classical Schools. In June of 2024, she presented her paper to over a thousand conference attendees.
The Good Soil Report
JECA’s success isn’t a surprise to us. We’ve seen plenty of proof that classical education works in today’s world. For instance, back in 2020, the Association of Classical Christian Schools (of which JECA is a member) released a longitudinal study of classical school alumni called the Good Soil report.
It showed that when it comes to ACT and SAT scores, “ACCS member schools score above all other types of schools— public, religious, and even independent.” ACCS students also reported earning higher degrees and being better equipped at their jobs. They also read their Bible more frequently and attended church more often.
